Reserve Wooded Chardonnay 2007 |
Malolactic fermented in French oak barriques (25% new) for 8 months. Quite restrained bouquet with buttery and nutty oak, stone fruit, melons. A creamy lift of peaches and nectarine, followed by a lingering stone fruit and pink grapefruit nuances with fine flint on the finish. |

A very long finish, fit for a King.

A nose of vanilla and tobacco, with signature Margaret River leafiness, toasty tones of blackcurrant and cassis on the palate with herbaceous overtones. Plump, full and powerful, with firm, chewy tannins. A muscular wine with great length, ready for the long haul. 14.9% alcohol.
